Lovely apartment – comfortable, warm welcome, cosy and well located.  Fantastic position.  Easy access to so many sites.  Had a lovely Christmas and New Year.  Beautiful sun rises and sets and so special at the Ring of Brodgar.  Hope to be back soon.

Our second stay at Kringla.  Such a lovely place.  Did lots of walking.  Went to Rousay.  Also saw the Scottish Primrose at Yesnaby.  Had a lovely time and hope to be back again.  Such a lovely apartment.  Thank you.

Definitely well above average.  Clean, comfortable, ideally located and an owner, Kay, who was determined to make this a home from home.  Great weather helped but it would have been a cosy place if weather had been poor.  Lots of local information too.

Lovely apartment, superbly equipped and nice touches with décor (love the spinning wheel).  Ideal location with Co-op along the road, cheapest fuel in Orkney, craft shop and a pub which does surprisingly good food(try the fish), no tossing coins to see who drives – walking distance.

Wonderfully comfortable and relaxing apartment.  We have thoroughly enjoyed our 2nd week in Orkney.  So much to see and do.

Back again, wouldn’t stay anywhere else!  Thanks again Kringla, see you again for sure!

A lovely comfortable and warm apartment.  Kringla is perfectly situated for many of the best historical sites and of course the bird reserves!  Kay has thought of everything a visitor could possibly need and made us very welcome – thank you.  We hope to come back in the not too distant future and visit some of the other islands as we only went to Hoy this time.  Get to the sites early and you will have them virtually to yourself.

Our first time visiting Orkney and your beautiful apartment has made it a memorable one!  Dounby is so central to all the historic landmarks and the locals are welcoming and helpful.  We have enjoyed our stay so much that we are keen to return to your lovely apartment next year too. ? What a special place and seeing the puffins up close and personal was the pinnacle of our visit – Brough of Birsay is the place to go.  Thank you so much Kay for the recommendations of sites to see and places to eat were outstanding.  FIVE STAR RATING!!!

We have loved our time in Orkney.  It was great to come back to such a clean, new and comfortable apartment each day.  Thank you for being so helpful.

A wonderful place to spend our honeymoon and such a wonderful welcome! We’ve had a fantastic time exploring the prehistoric sites, beachcombing and working on projects.  Thoroughly recommend the excellent steak from the local butchers, also the food at the Merkister Hotel is excellent.  Wish we didn’t have to leave so soon, but hopefully we’ll be back.  Thank you for making our stay so special.

So much to see and so little time.  We’ve had a wonderful time exploring and all of us are keen to return.  The apartment is lovely and well located for many of the pre-historic sites.  The local shops are friendly and the butchers especially good.  The birdlife and flora is exquisite.  Thank you for a very comfortable stay and all the attention to detail that made our visit even better.

Kringla 3 fulfilled all our expectations – very comfortable, tasteful and welcoming.  We felt at home here and were sad to leave.  Highly recommended as a centre for the Orkney experience.

Such a lovely apartment – lots of room and storage space.  Kay very helpful and she keeps everything so nice and neat and tidy.  We had 2 of our grandchildren visit, who live close by, and they said it is “Epic” and “Awesome”.  How true! We would highly recommend Kringla.

We enjoyed a very pleasant stay thanks to the superb comfort of this lovely apartment.  Well-equipped and furnished in a stylish fashion it provided a good base to explore the mainland and other islands such as Hoy.  Attractions that we enjoyed include Skara Brae, Tomb of the Eagles, the Old Man of Hoy and the island of Papa Westray. Kay was fantastic though out providing advice on places to visit and helping out with any problems.  Thanks so much for making our first visit to Orkney such an enjoyable one and we hope to return to this beautiful place in the near future.

What can I say?  What a wonderful, wonderful place! The accommodation is first class!!!  I saw a puffin yesterday for the first time!  It made the holiday!  We will be back, hopefully for a little longer next time.  I will be recommending Kringla 3 to everyone!  It was a pleasure to stay here.  Thank you Kay for making our Orkney stay so very wonderful.

We’ve had such a great time exploring Orkney.  We’ve been visiting all the sites and the remote corners of the islands.  The apartment is lovely and cosy and we’d come back in a heartbeat – we wish we didn’t have to leave!

Well this place was a gem of a find!  Such a well-appointed, clean, modern and lovely place- we wanted for nothing more.  Thanks so much for making our stay so brilliant, to match the brilliant weather on an amazing island full of history that blew our minds.

We will remember the Orkneys as the friendliest place in the United Kingdom.

The word that most comes to mind is ‘perfect’.  A lovely home for a restful yet adventurous mid-point vacation.  We loved standing in the Ring of Brodgar, the cliffs at Yesnaby and exploring family heritage.  Thank you!
